Be a part of history. The Tour of Somerville is the oldest and most prestigious race in North America. Over 50 U.S. Cycling Hall of Fame inductees have raced in Somerville, including Tour de France champion, Greg LeMond. World-class cyclists like Davis Finney, Jack Simes, Ron Skarin, Marc Maertens and Jocelyn Lovell have won Somerville. On the women’s side, world champions Sue Novara-Reber, Marianne Berglund, and Jeanne Golay all won the Tour of Somerville. Cyclists from around the world have competed in Somerville including Canada, Great Britain, Belgium, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Columbia, Mexico, France, Germany and many more. Two cyclists have won the Tour of Somerville five times – Jonas Carney on the men’s side and Laura Van Gilder in the women’s race and 2017-18 winner. The Tour of Somerville, a Memorial Day classic since 1940.
